effectively of market sell

whenever my readers decide that they want someone to help them make more sales, guess what? Yes, they give me a call or send me an email! I attract clients rather than pursue them, which is great because people HATE being chased or pursued. Spend a day doing cold-calling and you will learn very quickly just how much people HATE being pursued!

Most businesses get it the wrong way around. They choose to ‘pursue’ new clients and even though people are not responding to their letters, emails or calls; they just keep on grinding away regardless!

Do some competitor research

It’s impossible to effectively sell or market your services unless you have researched your competitors. You need to know what offers, guarantees, prices or fees you are selling against, in order to make YOUR offering the most attractive to potential clients.

In my experience, businesses often THINK that the service they offer to potential clients is superb, when in reality, it’s ‘very average’; when compared to what their competitors are offering. Find out what you’re up against and THEN BEAT IT by adding massive value!

Joint Ventures

Sometimes known as a J.V, a Joint Venture is where you and another business or person get together to (usually) cross-market your services. The key to Joint Venture success, is to find someone credible, who offers a non-conflicting product or service to the exact same profile of person or business as you do.

So, if you sell recruitment services to the hospitality industry and they sell employee benefits packages to the hospitality industry – BINGO! They can include one of your flyers or letters in one of their mailings and you can do the same for them; everybody wins. Avoid doing a Joint Venture with ANYONE who contacts you via email – unless you know them or can check them out. If in doubt – leave it!

Use attraction marketing and not pursuit marketing

Use ‘attraction marketing’ and not pursuit marketing

I am sure you will have noticed what happens whenever a beautiful woman or a handsome man walks into a crowded room or a bar? People look at them. In fact, some people will actually walk over to them and offer them a drink or strike up a conversation with them. The reason we call these kind of physically striking people ‘attractive‘ is that they literally attract the attention and also the interest of other people.

So, you might be wondering at this point, what this has to do with you and your marketing? The most successful businesses ALL use the same power of attraction I just highlighted, in order to attract sales, clients readers or customers! The most successfully marketed businesses gain the attention and interest of potential clients by making themselves attractive.

For example
I rely exclusively on attraction marketing for 100% of my sales income! How? Simple! People find blog ‘attractive’, so they recommend and forward it to their contacts, their colleagues and their friends. This, in turn, helps me attract more people. These new people then do the same etc, etc…

Without spending anything on ANY form of advertising, (pay-per-click, affiliate marketing or anything else), there are now millions of people who know all about my ability to help them produce great sales results.

AdSense often easier than affiliate programs

Google's homepage in 1998

One problem is inappropriate ads. You don’t want spammy junk advertised on your site. Google’s standards probably aren’t as high as yours. You can filter out 200 URLs, but in some industries that won’t be enough.

The stats Google supplies are inadequate. They’re easy to understand at a glance. However, they don’t tell you exactly which ads people are clicking on, or which keywords are involved. That’s frustrating.

Also, I’d like to be able to identify and block ads that have very low payout rates, without doing a lot of sleuthing and messing around.

The ad panels say “Ads by Google” – free advertising for Google. You don’t earn anything if someone clicks on that link.

The minimum payout is $100, which is regarded as too high by sites which don’t receive much traffic. That won’t worry experienced webmasters.

Also, sites that want to display AdSense ads may not include “other content-targeted and/or text-based ads on the pages displaying AdWords ads.” However, human beings review the sites. Rejected sites have been able to appeal successfully.

Another disadvantage is that Google doesn’t allow you to share your stats with other webmasters. The AdSense Terms and Conditions say:

“Confidentiality. You agree not to disclose Google Confidential Information without Google’s prior written consent. ‘Google Confidential Information’ includes without limitation: … (b) click-through rates or other statistics relating to Site performance in the Program provided to you by Google…”

That’s really weird. Web site owners need to be able to share such information and discuss successes and failures.

A big disadvantage of the service is that Google doesn’t say how much its AdSense partners will receive. You’ll just receive an unknown share of the revenue.

SEO: Inbound Links

Inbound Links

Let’s look at what are the main ways to get inbound links (directly):

Directories
One way to get inbound links is to send our web address (URL) to link directories.

Search engines usually take into account the links from directories, but, generally, only those where there has been someone to manually approve.

Still, it is advisable to send our address to all directories we can but only the main (as Dmoz.org), or those who are specialized in the sector which is our website.

As a board we must make different descriptions for each description of our link, and always seek the same type of url (for example, always put http://www ….)

Forums and blogs
Another way to get inbound links is to participate in forums and blogs, or any other web site that allows us to participate and include the address of our website.

In the case of forums and blogs, we might include a comment and leave it at the end of a link to our site, but always striving to provide post comments, if there is no contribution to our comments, they could be considered spam, and who administer the web site may choose to remove them.

For example, we might include a remark by way of advice and then provide the link to our website and noted that this was where we got the video. As a council we only participate in themed websites similar to ours.

Article directories
Another way to get inbound links is by submitting articles or similar material to article directories or any other web site allowing us to publish articles or letters and at the end of these include a brief review of our ownership and the management of our website.

Affiliate Programs

Affiliate Programs

From the standpoint of the seller
Having an affiliate program allows a seller to maximize the potential of the Internet Business, and reach many more potential customers than it could go if only to devote himself to promote their products, and may even forget the promotion of engage them and only their design and management.

Another advantage for a person having an affiliate program is that, unlike advertising which must be paid even if consumers come to buy, with an affiliate program only pays a commission if a referral comes to make a purchase.

Having an affiliate program has enabled them to amass small fortunes to many people in the English speaking market, and gradually is allowing them to make lots of money to people in the Hispanic market.

To create an affiliate program is necessary to design a software that allows us to identify which affiliate we provide a specific referral, although a simpler way to create our affiliate system is registered with ClickBank, who is responsible to track and pay our affiliates, in exchange for a small fee.

Once we have our affiliate program, one of our main goals should be to achieve the greatest possible number of members, the main ways of achieving this are:

* Calling members on our website, but also by other means, for example, in forums or social networks.
* Creating a good quality product that has been well received by the public and, thus, the potential member know you have a product that will sell easily.
* Creating a sales page quality that emphasizes product quality and benefits for the member, and includes tips and tools for this such as models of text ads and banners you can use.
